This Double IPA from La Débauche delivers an intense, saturated hop profile driven by a complex blend of Citra, Simcoe, Cashmere, and Idaho Gem. The aroma is dominated by Citra’s bright citrus and Idaho Gem’s unique red berry and candied fruit notes, grounded by the forest-like pine of Simcoe. On the palate, Cashmere provides subtle melon and lemon zest nuances. The 8% ABV provides a smooth, integrated warmth that complements a soft, pillowy malt structure. While leaning into the hazy tropical character of modern interpretations, it maintains a firm bitterness that balances the lingering, resinous fruit finish for high drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7–10 SRM); opaque with a heavy, uniform haze. Topped with a thick, persistent, off-white head that leaves dense, decorative lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, crushed pineapple, and ripe mango. Distinctive secondary notes of pine resin and a hint of cherry-like fruit. Low, neutral bready malt in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a light, floral alcohol presence.
