This vibrant Double IPA centers on the expressive qualities of Citra hops, delivering an intense sensory profile defined by citrus and tropical fruit. The aromatics lead with pungent grapefruit zest, lime, and ripe mango, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone. On the palate, the hop-forward character persists with layers of passion fruit and resinous pine, balanced by a firm, smooth bitterness that avoids harshness. Despite its 8% strength, the beer remains highly drinkable, finishing dry and crisp. The medium body and well-integrated alcohol warmth highlight the modern hop character without the heavy malt sweetness often found in stronger ales.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM) with good clarity and a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with prominent Citra characteristics including grapefruit, lime pith, and tropical mango. A clean, neutral, grainy malt presence sits in the background, complemented by very low fruity esters and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong citrus and tropical fruit flavors dominate the initial impression. A clean, soft malt character provides a light platform for high hop bitterness that remains smooth and well-structured. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high, providing a crisp mouthfeel. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is noticeable but restrained and well-integrated.
