La Chingonería Saque Mate
This refreshing Session IPA offers a vibrant sensory interplay between resinous hops and fresh rosemary. Created in collaboration with Micky Huidobro, it presents a light-bodied but aromatic profile. Bright citrus and pine notes typical of American hops are immediately elevated by the savory, woody essence of rosemary. The malt base is intentionally lean, allowing the herbal complexity to take center stage without being overshadowed by residual sweetness. It finishes exceptionally dry and crisp, with a lingering herbal bitterness that invites another sip. The lower alcohol content ensures high drinkability while maintaining the assertive, hop-forward character expected of the American IPA style.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber in color with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with moderate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring a unique blend of fresh, woody rosemary and resinous pine. Subtle citrus zest and floral hop notes are supported by a low, clean, grainy malt background and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression of botanical rosemary followed by grapefruit and pine hop flavors. Low, crackery malt sweetness quickly gives way to a medium-high hop bitterness. The finish is very dry and clean, leaving a lingering aftertaste of herbal oils and citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a refreshing effervescence with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
