This Double IPA serves as a vibrant sensory tribute, defined by its assertive hop character and deceptive drinkability. The nose is dominated by intense citrus zest and lush tropical fruit, complemented by an underlying layer of pine resin. On the palate, a bold bitterness takes center stage, delivering sharp grapefruit and herbal notes over a clean, lean malt foundation that allows the hops to remain the primary focus. Appearance. Light amber to copper color (8-10 SRM). Features good clarity with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and mango, backed by a significant resinous and piney quality. Malt character is low and neutral, providing a slightly grainy background. Clean fermentation profile with minimal esters.
