Beyond presents an elegant evolution of the Belgian Blond Ale, enriched by its maturation in white wine barrels. This integration infuses the base beer's classic profile of grainy-sweet Pilsner malt and honeyed nuances with sophisticated notes of white grapes, oaky tannins, and a crisp vinous acidity. The signature Belgian yeast provides a delicate backdrop of orange peel and cracked black pepper, which melds seamlessly with the orchard fruit and floral qualities derived from the barrel. It is a refined, medium-bodied ale where the warmth of the alcohol and the bright carbonation lift the complex interplay of stone fruit and subtle wood spice toward a dry, lingering finish.

Appearance. Deep gold color (SRM 6). Displays a large, dense, and creamy off-white head with excellent retention and characteristic Belgian lacing. Generally very clear, with a brilliant shimmer.

Aroma. Moderate intensity. Initial notes of grainy-sweet, crackery malt and light honey are layered with sophisticated white wine esters of grape and pear. Yeast-derived orange citrus and subtle peppery phenols mingle with light oak and a soft vinous tartness. Hop character is low and earthy.

Taste. Initial impression is of soft, grainy-sweet malt and lightly caramelized sugar. The mid-palate introduces moderate yeast-driven orange and lemon esters alongside spicy-peppery phenols. White wine barrel aging contributes distinct flavors of white grape and a touch of dry oak. Bitterness is medium and well-integrated, leading to a smooth, dry finish with a lingering floral and vinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with high carbonation that creates a bubbly, mouth-filling sensation. Features light, smooth alcohol warmth and a subtle creaminess, punctuated by a faint, pleasant tannic dryness from the wood.
