This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory escape, led by an intense bouquet of exotic fruits. The triad of Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe hops drives a profile of tropical mango, citrus zest, and stone fruit. Supported by a grist of wheat and oats, the beer presents a veiled, luminous appearance and a characteristically silky, full-bodied mouthfeel. On the palate, juicy hop flavors dominate with minimal perceived bitterness, balanced by a clean, bready malt backbone. It finishes with a soft, lingering fruitiness that reinforces its tropical 'beautiful place by the sea' inspiration, maintaining a smooth, approachable elegance.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4–6 SRM); opaque with a luminous haze; thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring passionfruit, mango, and grapefruit from Mosaic and Citra, with a light resinous pine note from Simcoe. Background malt is clean and bready with a subtle grainy sweetness.
Taste. Initial impression is exceptionally juicy with layers of pineapple and orange; low to moderate bitterness that is soft and well-integrated. The malt provides a neutral, bready support with no caramel. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a distinctively silky, creamy texture from the oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate. No harshness or astringency; subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
