KYKAO - Handcrafted

This evolved American IPA delivers a potent sensory experience, leaning into the bold West Coast tradition with modern hop sophistication. A vibrant aromatic profile led by Talus and Cashmere bursts with pink grapefruit, succulent peach, and sweet tangerine. Underlying complexity comes from Sabro and Citra, introducing layers of coconut and ripe mango. The palate is defined by a firm bitterness and a slightly boosted body that supports a lush tropical fruit melody. Despite its intensity, the finish remains dry and clean, showcasing a masterful balance of resinous depth and bright, candied fruit highlights driven by the diverse hop blend.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a tall, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop-forward bouquet featuring high-impact notes of pink grapefruit and sweet tangerine. Secondary aromas of honeydew melon, ripe peach, and tropical mango are complemented by a unique hint of toasted coconut and candied fruit. Low, clean, grainy malt provides a neutral backdrop.

Taste. Initial impression is a surge of tropical fruit and citrus pith. Medium-high hop flavors of grapefruit, mango, and peach dominate the mid-palate. Bitterness is firm and assertive, balanced by a light, clean malt sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering resinous and citrus-peel aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp bite. A very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, without any astringency or harshness.
