This bottle-conditioned classic opens with a vibrant sensory interplay of prominent banana esters and delicate clove phenols, characteristic of specialized weizen yeast. The malt profile is defined by bready, doughy wheat and light Pilsner malt sweetness, creating a soft, inviting foundation. With its effervescent carbonation and signature fluffy mouthfeel, it delivers a refreshing, spritzy finish. Appearance. Hazy, golden-yellow (4-5 SRM) with a brilliant shine from suspended yeast. Crowning the pour is a very thick, moussy, and persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of ripe banana and spicy clove dominate the nose. Underlying notes of bready, grainy wheat and a hint of vanilla are present, with virtually no hop aroma.

Taste. Initial bready wheat sweetness is met by a classic balance of banana and clove. Low bitterness allows the soft Pilsner malt graininess to shine. The finish is relatively dry and clean, with a lingering, pleasant spicy yeast character and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a luxurious, creamy, and fluffy texture. Very high carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent sensation that lightens the palate, with no perceptible alcohol warmth or astringency.
