The coffee blend from Tairora in Papua New Guinea contributes a bright sweetness with nuances of orange and plums, while the Colombian Planadas beans provide a robust, full-bodied foundation of dark chocolate and ripe cherries. Fragrant vanilla beans soften the edges, weaving through the rich, roasted malt base. Despite its high strength, the beer maintains a sophisticated balance between assertive roasted bitterness and a luxurious, velvety texture, creating a complex, warming experience designed for winter sipping.

Appearance. Opaque, deep ebony to ink-black (40+ SRM). It pours with a thick, persistent tan to dark brown head that leaves dense, oily lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant freshly roasted espresso and cold-brew coffee notes. Layers of dark chocolate, toasted malt, and fragrant vanilla beans. Subtle fruity esters of plum and orange zest emerge as it warms, supported by a rich, molasses-like malt sweetness and a clean, albeit noticeable, alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impact of bittersweet dark chocolate and intense espresso. The coffee provides complex fruit notes of black cherry and subtle citrus. Mid-palate reveals creamy vanilla and deep-roasted grain. Bitterness is firm but balanced by the residual sugar and heavy malt backbone.
