Krecher Deathcharj is a vibrant, fruited interpretation of a Berliner Weisse, amplified to a robust 6% ABV. It presents a striking sensory profile dominated by the intense addition of sour cherry juice, raspberry juice, and black currant juice. The aroma leads with a sharp, clean lactic sourness intertwined with ripe, floral berry notes and a subtle, doughy wheat backbone. On the palate, the acidity is crisp and refreshing, carrying deep flavors of tart cherry and jammy raspberry into a bone-dry finish. This modern take balances the traditional effervescent character and bready malt of the style with a bold, fruit-forward complexity and no detectable hop presence.

Appearance. Deep crimson to ruby red with a pink-tinted, fine-beaded head that shows moderate to poor retention. Clarity is clear to slightly hazy, benefiting from the lack of fruit pulp and high effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity, sharply sour lactic character. Dominant fruit esters of tart cherry, floral raspberry, and earthy black currant. A low bready, raw dough malt character provides a sourdough-like quality. No hop aroma.

Taste. Clean lactic sourness dominates and is quite strong. Intense flavors of tart cherry and raspberry are supported by a faint grainy, bready wheat malt flavor. Bitterness is undetectable, and hop flavor is absent. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, bright berry acidity.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, slightly fuller than traditional examples due to the elevated gravity. Very high carbonation produces a spritzy, lively sensation. Crisp acidity with no perceived alcohol warmth.
