This Czech Premium Pale Lager presents a masterclass in the balance between heritage and intensity. A massive addition of Saaz hops delivers punchy herbal and spicy aromatics that define the experience. Beneath the hop-forward character, a backbone of premium malt provides a rich, bready foundation. While traditional in structure, the use of Vermont Lab yeast introduces a subtle, clean fermentation profile that lifts the floral bouquet. It is a refreshing, deep gold pilsner that marries a firm, rounded bitterness with a smooth, lingering finish, staying true to the spirit of a traditional Bohemian pour.
Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. It supports a dense, long-lasting, and creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Medium-high intensity with a rich, bready-rich malt character. A prominent spicy and herbal Saaz hop bouquet dominates, accompanied by very low fruity esters from the unique fermentation lab yeast.
Taste. Initial impression of complex, bready maltiness followed by a pronounced but soft and rounded bitterness. Strong flavors of spicy and floral hops persist throughout. The finish is clean and long, balancing the malt richness with a crisp hop character that avoids any harshness.
