This extra-light American Pale Ale presents a vibrant sensory profile driven by the synergy of Citra and El Dorado hops. The use of cryo hops in the dry-hopping process amplifies the aromatic intensity, delivering a focused burst of zesty grapefruit, bright citrus, and succulent melon. A neutral malt backbone provides a lean, supportive canvas that allows the hop-forward character to shine without interference. Refreshingly crisp and gently bitter, it balances modern tropical fruit notes with a clean, drinkable finish. Designed for summer enjoyment, it captures a refined hop expression while maintaining the balanced drinkability characteristic of the style.
Appearance. Extra-pale straw to light gold (approx 5 SRM). Moderately large, frothy white head with good retention and light lacing. Brilliantly clear.
Aroma. Moderately high intensity hop aroma featuring dominant grapefruit and lemon zest. Underlying notes of honeydew melon and tropical fruit are supported by a low, neutral, grainy malt character. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Crisp hop-forward flavors of grapefruit and melon dominate the palate. Malt flavor is low and cracker-like, providing just enough support for the moderate bitterness. The balance is firmly toward the hops. Finishes dry and clean with a light, lingering citrus pith aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation. Refreshingly smooth with no perceived alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
