This Belgian Golden Strong Ale presents a sophisticated evolution of the style through rum-oak aging. The sensory profile is led by a complex bouquet of ripe pear and pome fruit esters, supported by a delicate, neutral malt base of Pilsner malt. The rum-oaking introduces elegant layers of toasted vanilla, spiced oak, and a faint hint of sugarcane that intertwine with herbal, spicy hops. Effervescent and highly attenuated, it delivers a crisp, bone-dry finish where peppery alcohol warmth meets a firm bitterness. It is a masterful balance of Belgian yeast character and refined spirit-wood influence, remaining deceptively light-bodied despite its alcoholic strength.
