A crisp, highly refreshing fruit beer built on a pale lager base. It features prominent aromas of sweet, freshly sliced green and red apples, accompanied by a zesty sprig of lemon citrus. On the palate, the cider-like apple juiciness dominates, balanced by a mild citrus acidity that keeps the sweetness in check. The underlying malt is clean, cracker-like, and extremely light, with virtually no hop bitterness. Highly carbonated and crisp, this light-bodied beverage offers an incredibly refreshing, clean, and fruit-forward finish that makes it remarkably easy to drink.
Appearance. Pale straw to bright golden-yellow color. Crystal clear with a brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate white head that dissipates quickly to a thin collar, leaving minimal lacing, typical of a sweetened fruit beer.
Aroma. High intensity of sweet, juicy red and green apples, reminiscent of apple cider, accompanied by a bright, zesty lemon citrus note. Malt aroma is very low to absent, presenting as a faint, clean sweet grain. Hop aroma and yeast esters are absent, allowing the clean fruit character to dominate completely.
Taste. The initial impression is highly sweet and fruit-forward, featuring prominent, juicy apple flavors accented by a refreshing, slightly tart lemon-citrus undertone. Malt flavor is very low, offering a neutral, clean white-bread sweetness. Hop flavor and bitterness are virtually non-existent. Finishes sweet and clean with a lingering, refreshing crispness of apple and a hint of lemonade-like acidity.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. High carbonation provides a lively, effervescent prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is absent. No astringency or harshness, drinking very smoothly like a sparkling fruit beverage.
