This Double IPA is a vibrant sensory collaboration featuring the distinct profiles of Nelson Sauvin and Idaho 7 hops. It opens with an intense aromatic burst of white grape, crushed gooseberries, and overripe mango, underpinned by resinous pine and zesty citrus. On the palate, a clean, neutral malt base provides a lean stage for assertive tropical fruit and stone fruit flavors, leading into a firm, lingering bitterness that remains smooth and refined. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer maintains high drinkability with a dry finish and a subtle, integrated warmth that complements its bold hop character.

Appearance. Gold to pale orange (6-10 SRM). Moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with good lacing. Generally clear, though a light haze is present due to heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Prominent notes of white grape skins and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin, combined with tropical pineapple, apricot, and a hint of resinous pine from the Idaho 7. Neutral, grainy malt in the background with minimal esters.

Taste. Initial hop-derived flavors of passionfruit, white wine, and stone fruit dominate. Low, clean malt character supports a moderately high bitterness that is firm but lacks harshness. Dry finish with a long-lasting, hoppy aftertaste featuring citrus zest and pine.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate-high carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth without being solventy. No hop-derived astringency.
