Prizmàtics presents an intense sensory journey typical of a modern Double IPA. The aromatic profile is dominated by a complex trio of hops: Nelson Sauvin provides distinctive notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry, while Mosaic adds layers of ripe tropical mango and blueberry. Simcoe anchors the bouquet with foundational pine resin and earthy grapefruit. A clean, neutral malt base allows these vibrant hop characters to shine without competition. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances a lean, dry body, finishing with a lingering resinous snap. Subtle alcohol warmth integrates seamlessly, enhancing the bold fruit and forest floor nuances.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM). Good clarity, though a very slight haze from heavy dry-hopping is present. Moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High to intense hop aroma featuring tropical fruit mango, blueberry, and passion fruit, coupled with vinous white grape and a foundational resinous pine. Low, neutral, grainy maltiness in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of tropical fruit, gooseberry, and pine. High to very high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Low, clean, unobtrusive malt character. Dries out significantly in the finish with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste and a clean, smooth alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Medium-high carbonation. No harsh hop-derived astringency. Restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
