This Hazy IPA celebrates the harvest with a focused single-hop showcase of Chinook sourced from Biolupulus. It pours with a signature opaque glow, releasing an intense bouquet of pink grapefruit and subtle resinous pine, characteristic of the hop variety when utilized in a late-addition format. The soft, pillowy mouthfeel provides a canvas for layers of citrus zest and a touch of tropical stone fruit. Despite its assertive hop presence, the bitterness remains restrained and smooth, leading to a clean, juicy finish that highlights the fresh, vibrant character of locally grown hops within a classic New England-inspired profile.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. Topped with a dense, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and leaves thick lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of fresh grapefruit and resinous pine from the Chinook. Background notes of bready, grainy malt are present, supported by light esters of peach and melon. No detectable caramel, toast, or DMS.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with bold grapefruit peel and soft pine needles. Malt flavor is low but provides a sufficient bready, wheaty foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as smooth and non-lingering due to the soft water profile. The finish is off-dry and juicy with a clean, hop-forward aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle sparkle. No hop harshness or astringency is present, and there is only a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
