This German Pils bridges the gap between classic European lager precision and the vibrant hop profile of a modern IPA. A brilliant straw-colored pour leads with an unusually high intensity of floral and citrusy hop notes, reflecting the IPA-like character described by the brewer. Clean, doughy malt notes from continental Pilsner malt provide a light, cracker-like foundation that supports a firm bitterness. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, allowing the sharp, herbal, and resinous hop flavors to shine through to a bone-dry, crisp finish. Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM); brilliant clarity; creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
