An appetising, unpasteurised, bottom-fermented beer with a rich taste and aroma. Roast malt is prevalent in fragrance but there is a complex mix of nuts, sweetness, yeast and hops in the background.
The sweetish flavour is very malty, with hints of bread, before a distinctly hoppy, bitter finish. This is a very refined, quaffable beer, enhanced by a dense, white head.
