This German Pils captures the essence of a premium lager, balancing a clean, easy-drinking malt body with a characteristically crisp finish. The sensory experience begins with floral and spicy hop notes that dominate the nose, supported by a low, grainy-sweet malt foundation reminiscent of toasted crackers. Visually, it is brilliant and pale with a resilient, creamy head. The palate follows the aroma, where an initial doughy malt presence is swiftly eclipsed by a firm, refreshing bitterness. Its high attenuation ensures a bone-dry, lingering aftertaste that highlights the classic, authentic character of this authentically-brewed lager.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM). Brilliant to very clear clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to moderately-high intensity of floral, spicy, and herbal hops. Low to medium grainy-sweet malt character with notes of dough and toasted crackers. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial grainy malt flavor is quickly overcome by a firm hop bitterness and herbal hop flavor. Finishes very dry and crisp with a clean, lingering bitterness and a touch of flinty minerality in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium to high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing without being heavy; lacks harshness or astringency.
