Kimo’s Trigeña is a quintessential Weissbier that captures the refreshing essence of a German wheat beer. It pours a hazy pale gold, crowned by a thick, moussy white head. The sensory experience is defined by a vibrant interplay of banana esters and spicy clove phenols, characteristic of traditional Weizen yeast fermentation. A soft foundation of Malted wheat and Pilsner malt provides bready, doughy notes and a pillowy texture. At 4.5% ABV, this beer remains exceptionally drinkable, finishing dry and spritzy with a subtle hint of herbal hops. Its fluffy mouthfeel and high carbonation make it a classic, effervescent thirst-quencher.
Appearance. Pale gold (3–5 SRM). Thick, moussy, long-lasting white head with persistent lacing. Distinctively hazy with a healthy yeast sheen.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Prominent banana esters and spicy clove phenols are well-balanced. Background of bready, doughy wheat and a light grainy sweetness from Pilsner malt. Negligible floral or spicy hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression of soft wheat and yeast-driven fruit. Balanced flavors of banana and clove. Low bitterness allows the bready, doughy wheat and Pilsner malt graininess to shine. Finish is dry, clean, and refreshing with a lingering spicy phenol and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a fluffy, creamy fullness. High carbonation creates a spritzy, effervescent sensation. No alcohol warmth; no astringency.
