Kicks Brewing Strength In Numbers
Strength In Numbers is a powerhouse Double IPA that leans into the saturated, tropical intensity of a Triple IPA. Brewed with a heady cocktail of Freestyle Hops, it offers a lush sensory landscape of passionfruit, crushed lime, and white grape. The 10% ABV provides a significant but well-integrated warmth that supports the dense hop oils. While inspired by hazy traditions, it maintains the bold, resinous bite expected of the style. The malt profile remains lean and unobtrusive, allowing the vibrant New Zealand hop character to dominate the palate from the initial explosive aroma through to the lingering, citrus-drenched finish.
Appearance. Gold to deep orange-copper with a hazy, opaque character. Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves dense lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring dominant tropical fruit notes of passionfruit and guava, alongside crushed lime, white wine grapes, and a hint of resinous pine. Low, neutral grainy malt in the background with a clean, slightly fruity fermentation profile and a noticeable but smooth alcohol presence.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of mango, citrus, and stone fruit. High bitterness that remains smooth rather than harsh. Low, clean malt support without caramel heaviness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and a clean, warming alcohol note.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation. Notable alcohol warmth that is well-integrated and lacks solvent harshness; low hop-derived astringency.
