Pocket Universe is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures a vast spectrum of tropical fruit within its opaque, golden-yellow frame. The hop profile, defined by a trio of El Dorado, Nectaron, and Mosaic, delivers an intense aromatic burst of ripe pineapple, succulent nectarine, and juicy passionfruit. Beneath the fruit-forward intensity, a big, chewy malt base provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the lush hop expression. This medium-bodied ale balances its vibrant stone fruit and citrus qualities with a smooth, restrained bitterness, concluding in an off-dry, juicy finish that highlights its complex New World hop character.
Appearance. Straw to light amber (approx 5 SRM) with a distinct, opaque haze and a soft glow. Features a medium, rocky, white meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, alongside stone fruit esters. A clean, bready malt character sits in the background, free from caramel or toast, with a supportive fruity fermentation profile.
Taste. Very high fruity hop flavors of nectarine, passionfruit, and citrus. The malt provides a low to medium bready sweetness that balances the moderate bitterness. The finish is smooth and off-dry, lacking any hop harshness or astringency, leaving a lingering impression of fruit juice.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, chewy body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. It offers a smooth, creamy sensation without being cloying, accompanied by a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
