Appearance. Deep dark brown with garnet reflections (SRM 25-30). Slight haze present. Medium-sized, creamy off-white head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate malty-rich intensity featuring toasted bread, hazelnut, and light caramel-sweet notes. Moderate hop aroma characterized by earthy and resinous qualities. Low fruity esters and no roasted character.
Taste. Initial toasted malt sweetness transitioning into flavors of hazelnut and bread crust. Moderate to strong hop bitterness provides a firm balance against the malt complexity. Hop flavor is earthy and slightly resinous. Finishes medium-dry with a clean, lingering toasted grain and hop resin aftertaste.
