This collaborative Wee Heavy pours a deep dark ruby, crowned by a thick, ivory foam. The sensory journey is dominated by rich bready-toasty malts and deep caramel, accented by a bold, US-influenced addition of Peated malt that introduces a sophisticated earthy smoke. The presence of Bramling Cross and Golding East Kent hops adds layers of dark fruit and spice, while Northern Brewer provides a grounded bitterness. On the palate, luscious toffee and dried fruit notes meld with the peated character, finishing with a smooth, warming alcohol presence that complements the full, creamy body of this potent ale.

Appearance. Deep ruby red to dark brown with brilliant clarity. Features a large, creamy ivory head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity malt profile of caramel, toffee, and toasted bread. Distinctive earthy peat smoke from the Peated malt. Moderate dark fruit esters including plum and raisin. Low hop aroma of floral spice and subtle woodiness from Golding East Kent and Northern Brewer.

Taste. Initial rich malt sweetness with flavors of caramelized sugar, toffee, and toasted biscuits. The Peated malt contributes a lingering smoky, earthy complexity. Fruit character of blackcurrant and dried figs is supported by Bramling Cross hops. Bitterness is low, allowing a malty, slightly sweet, and warming finish with a hint of grainy roast.
