Jungle Juice Brewing

This modern Double IPA is a vibrant sensory showcase of intensive dry-hopping. The aromatic profile is dominated by the specific white wine, gooseberry, and crushed grape notes of Nelson Sauvin, bolstered by the multifaceted tropical fruit and berry layers of Mosaic and the bright, citrus-forward punch of Citra. A clean, neutral malt base allows these hops to remain the focal point from start to finish. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness integrates with a lean body, leading to a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes its high drinkability and sophisticated hop saturation through the use of subzero hop technology.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (SRM 6-8). Moderate, persistent white head with fine-textured lacing. Clear to slightly hazy, consistent with a heavy dry-hop regimen.

Aroma. High intensity. Bold layers of tropical passion fruit, blueberry, and bright grapefruit. Distinctive Nelson Sauvin character provides notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes and gooseberries. Low, crackery malt support; clean fermentation profile with no perceptible phenols or esters.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus peel and ripe mango. Mid-palate reveals complex berry and dank pine from the Mosaic and Citra, followed by the elegant vinous quality of Nelson Sauvin. High bitterness that is firm but devoid of harshness. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering resinous and tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp bite. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the hop aromatics without being solventy.
