Juguetes Perdidos

This Session Red IPA presents a vibrant interplay between toasted malt complexity and modern hop aromatics. Reflecting its namesake, the beer pours a deep ruby-copper with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma is led by high-intensity notes of citrus zest and pine needles, backed by a subtle layer of caramel and light toffee from the specialty malts. On the palate, a firm bitterness is immediate but balanced by a medium-light body, making it exceptionally drinkable. The finish is clean and dry, leaving a lingering impression of grapefruit peel and toasted bread. It stands as a refined, lower-gravity take on a Specialty IPA.

Appearance. Deep amber to coppery-red (11–17 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring grapefruit, orange peel, and resinous pine. The malt presence provides a medium-low background of caramel, toasted crust, and a hint of dark fruit esters. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of citrus and resin. Malt flavors follow with medium-low notes of caramel and toasted bread, providing enough sweetness to balance the assertive hop bitterness. Fermentation is clean. The finish is dry to off-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and a crisp, clean bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, reflecting its session-strength profile. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle. Very low alcohol warmth. Smooth texture with no astringency.
