Golden Hash is a pungent American IPA that bridges old-school resin with modern tropical depth. The aromatic profile is dominated by an intense punch of Columbus HopHash, delivering heavy notes of sticky pine, herbal spice, and dank resin. This robust foundation is brightened by the addition of Strata and Mosaic Lupomax, which contribute layers of tropical yellow fruits, passion fruit, and berry. The beer features a clean, lean malt presence that stays out of the way of a firm, assertive bitterness. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes the hop-forward character and encourages another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (7-9 SRM). Pours with a persistent, off-white, creamy head that leaves decorative lacing. Brilliant clarity, though a very faint hop haze may be present due to the high concentration of lupulin products.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine and herbal spice from the Columbus. This is balanced by tropical fruit esters, specifically mango, citrus, and stone fruit derived from the Strata and Mosaic hops. Low grainy-sweet malt character and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical yellow fruit and citrus, quickly followed by a heavy wave of resinous pine and dank herbal flavors. High hop bitterness is firm and clean, supported by a low, grainy malt sweetness. The finish is decidedly dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste of grapefruit rind and pine needles.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the hop oils. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is noticeable but well-integrated, with no astringency or harshness.
