This Hazy Double IPA, a collaboration between Jopen and La Muette, delivers a lush, tropical experience driven by the New Zealand duo of Superdelic and Moutere hops. The aroma is saturated with red fruit, candy-like sweetness, and a distinct punch of passionfruit and citrus. Its hazy, pale orange body supports a creamy texture that carries intense notes of ripe stone fruit and a soft resinous undercurrent. Despite the 8% ABV, the finish remains remarkably smooth, balancing the hop saturation with a gentle malt backbone and a modern, fruit-forward profile that emphasizes juice-like complexity over aggressive bitterness.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM) with a pronounced, opaque haze. Features a dense, long-lasting white head with significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop bouquet featuring prominent notes of red berries, candied fruit, and passionfruit from the Superdelic and Moutere hops. Subtle background of bready, neutral malt with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical juice, mango, and berry-like esters. Malt flavor is low and soft, providing a grainy, crackery foundation. Hop flavor is intense and complex with citrus and stone fruit characteristics. Hop bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, leading to a medium-dry finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation with a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth and no harsh hop astringency.
