This Session Hazy IPA presents a vibrant sensory journey defined by its low-gravity elegance and intense additions. Radiant blood orange and Citra hops lead the profile, offering a burst of zesty citrus, grapefruit, and tropical fruit notes. The use of oats provides a surprisingly smooth, rounded texture that belies its sessionable strength, while the English yeast contributes subtle, supportive fruity esters. Clean and refreshing, it balances the bright acidity of the fruit with a soft malt backbone, finishing with a lingering, sunny citrus brightness and a restrained bitterness that invites another sip. It captures the essence of a cocktail-inspired ale through a modern, hop-forward lens.

Appearance. Pale straw to deep gold (3–6 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop and fruit aroma. Dominant notes of fresh blood orange juice and zest are intertwined with Citra hop characteristics of lime, grapefruit, and mango. Low grainy malt scent with a subtle hint of creamy oats and light pear-like esters from the English yeast fermentation.

Taste. Immediate wave of citrus hop flavor and blood orange tang. The Citra hops provide a layer of tropical fruit and lemon peel over a low malt flavor that is primarily bready and soft. Moderate bitterness provides balance without being sharp or harsh. The finish is dry to off-dry, featuring a lingering citrus and fruit ester aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body, bolstered by a silky, creamy texture from the oat malt. Moderate carbonation with no perceived alcohol warmth. Very smooth and refreshing without any hop-derived or fruit-derived astringency.
