This Alebrije Weizen captures the classic essence of a German Weissbier with its vibrant deep blonde hue and signature yeast profile. The aroma is dominated by high-intensity esters of ripe banana and spicy clove phenols, mirrored perfectly in the palate. The use of malted wheat provides a soft, bready foundation and a notably creamy mouthfeel, while the fermentation remains clean and fruity. Despite its smooth texture, it remains refreshing and light-bodied with a spritzy carbonation that cleanses the palate, making it an excellent companion for delicate white meats, sausages, or light desserts like apple strudel.
Appearance. Deep blonde to gold (SRM 4-6) with a significant haze and a thick, moussy white head that shows excellent persistence and lacing.
