Western Standard Time captures the essence of the Pacific coast with a bright, assertive American IPA profile. It leads with a vibrant hop assault of resinous pine and zesty grapefruit, evocative of the coastal air. The malt backbone is purposefully lean, utilizing clean pale malts to provide a crisp, grainy support without distracting from the hop intensity. Brilliantly clear with a persistent white head, it delivers a sharp, refreshing bitterness that lingers through a dry, clean finish. This is a quintessential West Coast expression, balancing high hop-derived fruitiness with a firm, structural bitterness that invites another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, frothy white head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit rind, pine resin, and a hint of tropical mango. Supporting this is a low, clean, grainy malt sweetness. Fermentation character is very clean with no notable esters.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of citrus and resinous hop flavor. A medium-high bitterness immediately takes hold, supported by a light, toasted cracker malt character. The balance is heavily hop-forward, leading into a very dry, crisp finish with a long-lingering, clean hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. A very subtle, smooth alcohol warmth is present at 6.7% ABV but remains well-integrated.
