Isleña presents a Mediterranean interpretation of the classic Kölsch style, utilizing specialty barley grown in Ibiza to create a uniquely terroir-driven profile. This top-fermented ale pours a brilliant, bright yellow with exceptional clarity. The aroma is delicately balanced, offering low grainy-sweet malt notes alongside a subtle whisper of orchard fruit and floral hops. On the palate, it exhibits a soft, rounded character that is notably less bitter than a traditional German Pils, emphasizing a clean, well-attenuated finish. Brewed in Germany to ensure technical precision, it maintains a refreshing, crisp quality that highlights the delicate harmony between its pale malts and noble-style hop accents.

Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a bright, medium-yellow hue (4 SRM). Topped by a delicate, white head with moderate persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. Low intensity but fresh. Characterized by a grainy-sweet malt profile with a subtle hint of apple or pear esters. Very low floral and spicy hop presence contributes to a clean, balanced aromatic bouquet.

Taste. Initial impression is of soft, grainy maltiness with light bready undertones. A delicate fruitiness emerges mid-palate, transitioning into a medium-low bitterness that is smoother and less sharp than a Pilsen. The finish is soft, dry, and crisp, with a short, clean aftertaste.

Isleña es una cerveza producida, entre otras, con cebada cultivada en Ibiza, es del tipo ALE ya que la fermentación de la levadura se produce a alta temperatura. La cerveza es clara, de tonalidad amarilla brillante y con un gusto prominente de lúpulo, comparada con las Pilsen es menos amarga.
Y como en Ibiza -todavía- no tenemos fábrica de cerveza, nos fuimos a producir donde son auténticos expertos, Alemania.
