It masterfully balances intense hopping with a crisp mouthfeel, showcasing the complex, fruit-forward, and resinous characteristics expected of the style.
Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber (6–12 SRM). Clear with a medium-sized, white to off-white head showing good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine, citrus zest, and tropical fruit. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a punch of citrus and tropical fruit hop flavors. Medium-high to high bitterness is firm and clean. Low grainy maltiness provides a supportive foundation with very light toasted notes. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slick texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated without harshness.
