Invictus Ka Ryu is an intriguing American IPA that diverges from tradition with its striking reddish-amber color and an infusion of Peruvian native chili peppers. The sensory experience is lead by high aromatic intensity, blending zesty lime citrus with the floral and spicy qualities of noble hops. Unlike the standard aggressive bitterness of the style, this beer is intentionally smooth and light, allowing a toasted malt base to support a unique interplay of citrus and gentle pepper heat. Appearance. Pours a clear, light reddish-amber to copper color with a medium-sized, off-white head that shows moderate persistence and light lacing.
