Raices Intergalactic is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the juicy substyle with an intense focus on tropical fruit expression. It pours with a characteristically cloudy, luminous appearance, offering a sensory journey reminiscent of tropical nectar. Expect high-intensity aromas and flavors of ripe mango and zesty passion fruit, accented by a subtle, grounding resinous quality. The 6.3% ABV is perfectly integrated into a medium-full, silky body that provides a plush mouthfeel without being overly heavy. Appearance. Straw to light gold (4–6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that creates a vibrant, luminous shine. Features a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity with a massive tropical fruit punch of ripe mango and sharp passion fruit. A background of light, grainy-sweet malt provides support, while subtle resinous notes add depth. Clean fermentation with light fruity esters and no detectable diacetyl.
Taste. Explodes with tropical flavors of mango and passion fruit, mimicking a fruit nectar. The malt profile is low, offering a bready, neutral canvas. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never harsh. Finishes off-dry to medium with a persistent, juicy fruit aftertaste and a touch of piney resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable silkiness and soft, plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. Very smooth with no hop astringency or alcohol harshness.
