This American IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by the specific use of Mandarina hops, which deliver a bright bouquet of zesty citrus and exotic lychee. As an unfiltered ale, it retains a natural complexity where the hop-forward character is supported by a foundation of Extra Pale and Munich malts. These grains provide a smooth, subtle sweetness that tempers the firm bitterness, creating a balanced and refreshing experience. The result is a crisp, accessible ale that emphasizes fresh fruit aromatics over heavy resin, maintaining a clean fermentation profile that allows the unique hop character to remain the primary focus.

Appearance. Color is a medium gold (7 SRM) with a slight, characteristic haze from being unfiltered. Topped with a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent zesty citrus, orange peel, and tropical lychee. A low, clean, grainy malt sweetness from the Munich malt provides a soft background. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters.

Taste. Initial impression is bright and citrusy. Hop flavors of tangerine and lychee dominate, supported by a light, bready, and slightly toasty malt backbone. Bitterness is firm but not aggressive, balanced by the gentle malt sweetness. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing, crisp prickle. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated; no astringency present.
