Autumn Landscape '22 is a vibrant Festbier that captures the transition to cooler weather through a sophisticated showcase of New York State terroir. This golden lager leads with inviting aromas of roasted pretzel and delicate toffee, underpinned by a complex, bready base of Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts sourced from Hudson Valley Malt. On the palate, a soft, doughy richness is masterfully balanced by a surprisingly firm and lingering bitterness derived from Pedersen Farms and Chimney Bluffs hops. Exceptionally clean and well-attenuated, the beer maintains a smooth, creamy texture and a crisp finish that remains remarkably drinkable while supporting local environmental conservation.
Appearance. Deep gold color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a persistent, creamy off-white foam stand that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate malty intensity featuring notes of toasted bread dough, roasted pretzel, and a faint hint of toffee. Hop character is low to medium-low, presenting herbal and spicy aromatics over a clean lager fermentation profile.
