Indie Rabble Marzen pours with a deep amber hue, evoking the traditional essence of the season. The aroma is characterized by an elegant, moderate malt richness, featuring notes of toasted bread crusts and a gentle suggestion of caramel. On the palate, the beer displays a complex, bready malt depth that initially suggests sweetness but is quickly balanced by moderate hop bitterness and a clean, dry finish. This Märzen is superbly pintable, offering a soft and creamy texture without any cloying weight. The fermentation profile remains impeccably clean, allowing the interplay between the rich malt character and subtle herbal hop notes to shine through a crisp, well-attenuated finish.

Appearance. Deep amber with a reddish-copper tint; brilliant clarity. Topped by a persistent, off-white, creamy head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a rich, bready, and toasty malt character. Light notes of bread crust and a hint of caramel sweetness. Clean lager fermentation with no esters or diacetyl. Low herbal hop aroma is barely perceptible.

Taste. Moderate-high rich malt flavor with a distinctive toasty and bready quality. While the initial impression is malty, the finish is moderately dry. Low spicy hop flavor provides balance against the malt. Hop bitterness is moderate and smooth. Aftertaste features lingering, elegant toasted malt flavors.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, creamy texture. Moderate carbonation creates a lively but soft feel. Fully attenuated and crisp, with very light, well-hidden alcohol warmth.
