This Wild Specialty Beer presents a decadent, smoothie-like profile, merging a vibrant tropical fruit ensemble with confectionery sweetness. The aroma is dominated by the fragrance of ripe mango and the sharp, tangy punch of passionfruit, all enveloped in a cloud of sugary marshmallow and vanilla notes from the marshmallow treatment. Its limoncello base adds a bright, zesty lemon curd character that cuts through the rich lactose creaminess. On the palate, the experience is viscous and lush, balancing the natural acidity of the fruit with a heavy body. It finishes with a long, fruit-forward trail, reminiscent of a chilled tropical dessert.
Appearance. Deep, opaque mango-orange with the thick, pulpy consistency of a fruit puree. Features a dense, creamy, pale-yellow head with moderate retention and significant glass coating.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh mango nectar and acidic passionfruit. Significant sweet notes of vanilla bean and marshmallow are present, backed by a bright lemon zest character. Very low lactic sourness and no detectable hop aroma.
Taste. Bold mango and passionfruit flavors lead, followed quickly by a rich, sugary marshmallow sweetness. The limoncello base provides a distinct citrus tartness that balances the heavy lactose. Hop bitterness is non-existent. The finish is sweet, lingering, and intensely fruity with a clean fermentation character.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a creamy, tongue-coating texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, serving to slightly lift the heavy fruit weight. No significant alcohol warmth or astringency.
