This imperial-strength take on an American Stout is an indulgent sensory experience defined by its seventeen-month stay in Heaven Hill barrels. The aroma is dominated by ripe Thai bananas and the cinnamon-sugar warmth of monkey rolls, layered over a foundation of dark chocolate and roasted malts. On the palate, the high gravity provides a viscous, velvety texture that carries deep notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramelized fruit. Despite its decadent sweetness and massive body, a persistent roasted bitterness keeps the profile anchored. The finish is long and warming, echoing the spirit-forward character of premium bourbon and sweet pastry.

Appearance. Opaque, jet black (40+ SRM). A thick, dark tan head forms with moderate persistence, eventually receding to a rich collar that leaves oily legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity; prominent notes of overripe banana and cinnamon dough are immediately apparent. The Heaven Hill barrel adds layers of bourbon, toasted oak, and vanilla, while the base beer contributes deep roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet and rich. Flourishes of caramelized Thai banana and brown sugar-glazed monkey rolls meld with dark chocolate and espresso-like roast. The bourbon character is well-integrated, providing a spicy oak depth. Finishes lingering and sweet with a soft, roasted bitterness and a smooth spirit heat.

Mouthfeel. Full, viscous, and coating body. Carbonation is moderate-low, enhancing the creamy, dessert-like texture. Noticeable alcohol warmth is present but smooth, with minimal roast-derived astringency.
