This celebratory English Barley Wine is a masterclass in malt depth, forged from 100% Maris Otter barley and concentrated through an exhaustive sixteen-hour boil. A year in rye whiskey barrels imparts a sophisticated layer of spicy rye and smooth vanilla that complements a rich base of toffee and luscious dried fruits. At 15.1%, it presents a profound, refined warmth, yet maintains a graceful, velvety texture. Appearance. Deep mahogany with brilliant ruby highlights (18-22 SRM). Pours with a low, off-white head that dissipates quickly into a fine rim. High viscosity is evident through thick, slow-moving legs on the glass.
