Imchi Brewery’s American Bohemic is a vibrant American IPA that bridges robust hopping with a refreshing, drinkable finish. Utilizing a generous Double Dry Hopped treatment with five distinct hop varieties, this beer explodes with intense layers of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of resinous pine. A clean, supporting malt base provides a subtle grainy foundation, allowing the complex hop profile to dominate the palate. The bitterness is firm yet well-integrated, leading into a crisp, dry finish. It is a bold, hop-forward experience that maintains high drinkability through its balanced construction and bright, effervescent carbonation.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (SRM 6-9) with a slight haze from the dry-hopping process. Topped with a medium-sized, off-white head that shows good persistence and leaves fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit. A low, clean, grainy malt character supports the hop presentation. The fermentation profile is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Strong hop-forward flavor profile featuring grapefruit, mango, and resinous notes. A low, grainy-sweet malt backbone provides support without being heavy. High hop bitterness is present but well-integrated, leading to a dry finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
