This American Pale Ale delivers a lively, evolving sensory experience through its traditional bottle conditioning. A foundational blend of Pale and Cristal malt provides a light bready and caramel-tinged backbone, which perfectly supports the vibrant intensity of American hops. Appearance. Deep golden to amber (7-9 SRM). Large, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. Hazy to opaque due to the lack of filtration and presence of live yeast from bottle conditioning.
Aroma. Moderately high intensity featuring classic American hop notes of citrus zest and pine. Low malt sweetness with a hint of toasted bread and caramel from the Cristal malt. A subtle, clean yeasty character is present due to secondary fermentation.
Taste. Moderate hop flavors of grapefruit and floral resin lead the palate, followed by a light, sweet bready malt profile. Bitterness is moderate and firm, balancing the malt without being aggressive. Clean fermentation with minimal fruity esters. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, pleasant hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a slight creaminess from the suspended yeast. High carbonation that feels lively and prickly on the tongue. Smooth finish with no perceptible alcohol warmth or astringency.
