Built on a foundation of rich English Malts and Debittered Black Malts, the sensory experience is dominated by lavish additions of Cacao and Madagascar Vanilla Beans. The inclusion of heavy oats creates a lush, velvety backdrop for the distinct sweetness of Marshmallow and the honeyed, toasted notes of Graham Crackers. Appearance.Opaque, jet black (40+ SRM) with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves dense, oily lacing. High viscosity is apparent in the glass.
Aroma.High intensity; bold aromas of milk chocolate and cacao nibs lead, followed immediately by sweet marshmallow cream and floral Madagascar Vanilla Beans. Secondary notes of honeyed graham cracker and a subtle, nutty richness from the English Malts are present with no hop aroma.
Taste.The initial impression is intensely sweet and chocolate-forward. Layers of vanilla and marshmallow provide a creamy mid-palate, while the graham crackers offer a toasted, bready spice.
