This American IPA presents a striking copper-gold hue that sets the stage for a complex aromatic journey. The bouquet is defined by a vibrant interplay of citrus and tropical fruits, driven by the purposeful inclusion of Strata, Chinook, and BRU-1 hops. Expect layers of zesty grapefruit and resinous pine from the Chinook to meld seamlessly with the punchy pineapple notes of BRU-1 and the distinctively dank, strawberry-like character of Strata. On the palate, a clean, grainy malt foundation provides the necessary support for a firm but balanced bitterness, finishing dry and refreshing with a lingering tropical essence.
Appearance. Copper-gold color (approx. 10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pineapple, passion fruit, and grapefruit. Background resinous pine and light berry notes are supported by low, clean, grainy maltiness. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with pineapple and strawberry flavors followed by grapefruit citrus. Medium-high bitterness is balanced by light bready malt. Finishes dry with a lingering hoppy, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture and moderate-high carbonation. Displays very light, smooth alcohol warmth without any astringency or harshness.
