This Wild Specialty Beer is a vibrant, sessionable sour inspired by the classic cocktail. It presents a striking appearance derived from fresh blueberries and dried blueberries, offering a deep magenta hue. The aroma is dominated by the bright, zesty character of lime zest, which cuts through the earthy, berry-forward sweetness of the fruit. On the palate, a sharp lactic acidity provides a clean backdrop for the nuanced blueberry flavors, while the lime zest adds a refreshing, citrusy lift. Initial impression is sharply tart and refreshing; prominent fresh blueberry flavor follows with a slight tannic skin quality; mid-palate features a strong lime zest citrus punch; bone-dry finish with a lingering lactic acidity and berry aftertaste; no perceived hop bitterness or malt sweetness.
