This Imperial Stout is a decadent sensory immersion, defined by an massive addition of roasted Oregon hazelnuts and Sri Lankan toasted coconut. The aroma is dominated by these toasted elements, backed by the rich, espresso-like depth of fresh Mostra coffee beans. On the palate, a thick, viscous body carries layers of praline and macaroon, seamlessly integrated with the woody, caramelized sweetness of barrel-aged Wisconsin maple syrup. At 13% ABV, it offers a plush, warming finish where the bitterness of the dark malts and coffee provides a necessary counterpoint to the intense, dessert-like richness.

Appearance. Opaque black (40+ SRM) with a thick, creamy, deep-tan head. Head retention is moderate, impacted slightly by the high oil content from the nut and coconut additions, leaving oily legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity; primary notes of toasted coconut and praline-like hazelnut. Secondary notes of dark chocolate, espresso-forward Mostra coffee, and a distinct maple-sugar sweetness. Low earthy hop aroma; high malt richness and noticeable but smooth alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely rich and sweet. Dominant flavors of roasted hazelnut and oily toasted coconut. Mid-palate reveals dark chocolate malt and bitter-roast coffee depth. The finish is long and lingering with barrel-aged Wisconsin maple syrup providing a woody, sugary complexity. Balanced toward sweetness, with coffee and roast providing the primary structure.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a velvety, mouth-coating texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. Significant alcohol warmth is present but smooth and well-integrated. Creamy and dense.
