Howling Hops

Change the Dial is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the modern juice bomb. The sensory experience is dominated by a saturated hop profile, featuring high-impact stone fruit and tropical notes driven by Cryo Azacca, Bru-1, and Strata. Bru-1 provides ripe pineapple nuances while Strata contributes layers of passionfruit and berry. American C-Hops in the whirlpool provide a necessary citrus-forward foundation that helps anchor the 7.1% ABV. The palate is soft and pillowy, leading with lush nectarine and mango flavors over a light, bready malt base. It finishes with a delicate, integrated bitterness that maintains exceptional drinkability and a smooth, off-dry character.

Appearance. Color is pale straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine. It is topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of ripe peach, apricot, and tropical pineapple. Distinct passionfruit and citrus notes are present, backed by a clean, neutral, and lightly bready malt character. No caramel or toast is detected.

Taste. Massive fruity hop flavor echoing the aroma with mango, pineapple, and citrus zest. The malt is supportive and grainy-sweet but remains in the background. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, providing just enough structure to balance the fuller body without being sharp. The finish is smooth and off-dry with lingering tropical fruit notes.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the 7.1% ABV without any harshness or astringency.
