Lord of the Ringpulls is a bright and assertive American IPA that emphasizes a modern, tropical hop profile. Dominated by vibrant aromas of crushed pineapple and ripe mango, it presents a sharp, refreshing character. The palate is defined by a firm, resinous bitterness that cuts through a lean, grainy malt base. Reflecting its dry descriptor, the beer finishes crisp and clean with a lingering citrus zest. While slightly lower in alcohol than some examples of the style, it maintains the punchy hop-forward balance expected of an American IPA, delivering a sessionable yet intensely flavorful experience with high drinkability and a clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Medium gold in color with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with dominant notes of tropical fruit, mango, and citrus zest. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt provides a neutral background, while the fermentation is very clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Leading with punchy tropical hop flavors and grapefruit, the palate is supported by a low, bready malt character. Bitterness is medium-high and firm, leading into a decidedly dry finish. The aftertaste is clean and hoppy, lingering with a pleasant resinous quality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and there is no perceived alcohol warmth or astringency.
